Job summary

Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii in Honolulu is seeking a full-time GI Technician/Medical Assistant to join our growing team. You will clean and maintain endoscopes, assist during procedures, and perform daily equipment maintenance under the Center Manager's guidance.

We offer comprehensive benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays. No on-call or night shifts. Opportunity to float to other centers with additional compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech is a plus.
• Patient care experience in acute or critical care is required; GI/Endoscopy training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites.
• Assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance.
• Support the center's mission and infection prevention guidelines.

Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii, located in Honolulu, is looking for a full time GI Technician to join our amazing and growing team.

Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii is a leading outpatient facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures. As a GI Technician/Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.

Monday-Friday work schedule. Some Saturday work hours depending on center needs.

NO call required, NO Nights

Ability to float to other centers with added compensation

The starting pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech is a plus.
• Patient care experience required in acute or critical care setting. We will train on GI/Endoscopy procedures.
• Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques is plus.
• Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA (or ability to obtain)
