Endoscopy Institute of Hawaii, located in Honolulu, is looking for a PRN GI Technician/Medical Assistant.

What You Will Do (Job Summary)

As a GI Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance. You must follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control. Additionally, you will assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures, perform daily equipment maintenance, and support the center's mission.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, with some Saturday work hours as needed. No nights or on‑call required.

Float Availability

Ability to float to other centers with added compensation.

Compensation

$20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a GI Tech, Endo Tech, Medical Assistant, or Sterile Processing Tech is a plus
• Patient care experience required in acute or critical care setting. Training will be provided on GI/Endoscopy procedures
• Knowledge of GI/Endo procedures or sterile processing techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with clinical or surgical settings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by AHA (or ability to obtain)
