Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a GI Tech for the Glenview, IL GI Lab, with shift 6:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and on-call rotation.

You will assist RN and physician, manage procedure setup and reprocessing, and respond to emergencies; on-call duties and ability to float to other GI Lab locations are included.

Qualifications

• CPR BLS certification required or preferred.
• Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy and medical terminology.
• Ability to take vitals and assist in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist under RN direction with care plans.
• Assist physician and RN during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and manage equipment and endoscopes.
• Floats to other GI Lab locations as needed.
