Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a dedicated Endo Tech - GI to support endoscopy procedures under RN guidance. This full-time role runs 6:30am–5:30pm with occasional Saturday rotation and on-call duties.

A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered and compensation is hourly based on experience. You will assist during procedures, set up, maintain equipment, and respond to emergencies, with opportunities to float to other GI Lab sites.

Qualifications

• Education: + Experience as a Patient Care Tech, Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant highly preferred
• Certification: CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Experience: Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy & medical terminology required
• Basic computer experience
• Ability to take vitals and perform CPR

Responsibilities

• Assist under the direction of the RN, in the implementation of the established plan of care.
• Assist the physician and the RN during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Responsible for procedure set-up, supply and equipment maintenance, processing and reprocessing of endoscopes and other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for meeting on-call criteria as defined by the department.
• The employee is expected to float to other GI Lab locations.
