Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technician to support patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures in a Magnet-designated hospital environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and ARC/STSA Surgical Technician Certification, with current OR or ambulatory surgery experience. Strong knowledge of septic/aseptic technique and endoscope care is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARC/STSA Surgical Technician Certification required.
• Current experience in OR or Ambulatory Surgery setting is required.
• Knowledge of septic and aseptic technique and be conscious of both at all times.
• Knowledge of care and safe handling of endoscopes.
• Demonstrate awareness of/sensitivity to patient/family rights and cultural/religious beliefs and age-specific needs.
