Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago seeks a G.I. Technician to support physicians during invasive GI procedures. You will hand sterilized instruments, scopes and supplies to the physician and assist the team to provide quality patient care for adolescents, adults and older adults.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; GI training or two years GI experience preferred; and current BLS (AHA) certification. Full-time days with rotating call; generous benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for new hires.
• GI training program graduate or 2+ years GI experience preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Hand sterilized instruments, scopes and supplies to the physician during GI procedures.
• Assist the GI team to provide continuous, quality patient care for adolescents, adults and older adults.
• Adhere to hospital policies, participate in performance improvement activities, and support other personnel as needed.
