Job summary

GI North, a well-established GI practice located about 25 miles north of Atlanta, is seeking a Board Certified Physician Assistant to join our team. Prior GI experience is preferred but not required.

The role is primarily clinic-based with some hospital duties at a newer facility beside our endoscopy center, and there are three satellite clinics. The ideal candidate provides attentive, patient-centered care, communicates effectively within the healthcare team, documents care in the medical

Qualifications

• Must be a Board Certified Physician Assistant.
• Provide patient-centered care.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team via phone, email, or in person.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; prescribe medications accordingly.
• Document delivery of care in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Clinic-based duties with some hospital responsibilities.
• Possibility of weekends call as part of duty schedule.
• Collaborate with physicians, other APPs, medical assistants, and administrators.
