Job summary

Gi-North-1 is seeking a Board Certified Physician Assistant to join a well-established GI practice located about 25 miles north of Atlanta. The role is primarily clinic-based with some hospital duties, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Prior GI experience is preferred but not required. COMPANY: Our practice includes three physicians, one nurse practitioner, and four PAs, with a new facility adjacent to a state-of-the-art endoscopy center and three satellite clinics.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physician Assistant with current license.
• Prior GI experience is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced GI practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, individualized, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and staff in a team setting.
• Perform physical exams and document findings in the medical record.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging, prescribe medications appropriately.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and diseases.
• Document delivery of care in the electronic medical record.
