Job summary

GI North in Georgia seeks a Board Certified Physician Assistant to join a growing GI practice approximately 25 miles north of Atlanta. The role is primarily clinic-based with some hospital duties, emphasizing teamwork and patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate will contribute to a busy, reputable practice with a three-physician, one NP, and four PA staff, and will be part of a modern clinic adjacent to a new endoscopy center. Weekend call coverage exists at one hospital.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Physician Assistant required.
• GI experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Complete physical examinations and document in medical records promptly.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic imaging and prescribe medications.
• Educate patients and family about procedures and diseases.
• Be computer literate and document care in the patient record.

Responsibilities

• Clinic-based duties with some hospital responsibilities.
• Weekend call coverage 1:5 at one hospital.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, medical assistants, and administrators.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
