Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• GI experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional care to patients undergoing GI procedures.
• Anticipate physician and patient needs during procedures.
• Maintain clinical area and assist physicians during procedures.

Skills

Manual dexterity for quick instrument handling

Good verbal and written English communication

Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GI

Education

High-school graduate or equivalent

Medical Assistant, Certified Nurse Assistant, or Patient Care Technician clinical training

GI experience

Certification in Operating Room Technology

Current BLS

ACLS preferred
