Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is hiring a GI Technician at the Surgery Center of Boerne, near San Antonio. The technician supports outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology, General, and Orthopedics, primarily on weekdays with no holidays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI lab.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate technical equipment during endoscopic procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for positive patient outcomes.
• Clean and maintain endoscopes and other instruments.
• Manage patient flow and prepare the room for procedures.
