Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology consults for residents in skilled nursing facilities.
• Evaluate and manage GI conditions like GERD and liver disease.
• Conduct comprehensive GI‑focused evaluations.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and stool studies.
• Manage medications and dietary recommendations for GI conditions.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists and facility providers for care coordination.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diet and symptom management.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance.
