Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Grass Valley, CA is seeking a Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (NP) to join a physician-led GI team at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. You will support in inpatient, outpatient, and endoscopy settings, collaborating with gastroenterologists to deliver high-quality care.

Active California NP license and national certification are required, with strong communication skills and GI interest.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible NP license in the State of California.
• Nationally recognized certification.
• Completion of state mandated educational courses.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical support to the gastroenterologist in both procedural and clinical settings.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to gastroenterology patients under physician supervision.
• Coordinate with GI Service Program leadership to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform inpatient rounding and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless transitions.
• Assist in procedures and manage complex GI cases in clinic, hospital, and endoscopy center environments.
