You will support in inpatient, outpatient, and endoscopy settings, collaborating with gastroenterologists to deliver high-quality care.

Active California NP license and national certification are required, with strong communication skills and GI interest.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform inpatient rounding and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless transitions.
• Assist in procedures and manage complex GI cases in clinic, hospital, and endoscopy center environments.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (NP), you will join Dignity Health Medical Group - North State, an established, physician-owned multi-specialty group in Grass Valley, CA. You will play a vital role in our GI team, serving our community through a high-quality 104-bed hospital and in our endoscopy center. This is a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive care while working in a system aligned with Dignity Health, one of the nation's largest and most respected healthcare providers.

You will manage a dynamic clinical practice that encompasses inpatient, outpatient, and operative responsibilities. Working in close coordination with our gastroenterologists, you will assist with procedures, perform hospital rounds, and collaborate with various hospital services to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

To be successful in this role, you will be a compassionate and detail-oriented NP with a commitment to excellence in GIcare. Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical support to the gastroenterologist in both procedural and clinical settings.

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to gastroenterology patients under the supervision and responsibility of a physician

• Work closely with the administrative and clinical directors for the GI Service Program to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in provision of clinical services

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and coordinate care with families and the clinical team.

• Perform inpatient rounding and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and outcomes.

• Participate in procedures and assist in the management of complex GI cases within clinic, hospital, and endoscopy center environments.

• Competitive salary range: $147,000 - $167,000 / year

Job Requirements

Required

• Active or eligible NP license in the State of California

• Nationally recognized certification

• Completion of state mandated educational courses

Preferred

• 1-3 years of experience in Gastroenterology

• 1-3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
