Job summary

The ideal candidate is board-certified, ACLS/BLS certified, with outpatient and inpatient clinical experience, and availability for hospital GI call. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus as is GI experience with internal medicine or family medicine backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP with Nevada licensure or eligibility.
• ACLs and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations
• Evaluating and managing common gastrointestinal conditions
• Taking few days of GI call every month at the hospital
• Developing and implementing treatment plans
• Ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Managing follow-up visits and chronic GI conditions
• Providing patient education regarding gastrointestinal health
• Coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
• Participating in a collaborative, physician-supported practice environment
