Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
• Successful completion of Atrium Health’s competency assessment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks such as vital signs and medication reconciliation.
• Assists providers with procedures as ordered.
• Performs lab duties including venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely.
