Borland Groover is seeking a Medical Assistant to coordinate patient care under the provider's direction in a fast-paced GI practice in Florida. The MA will assist with exams, patient education, vaccines, and chart reviews, while ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, CMA certification preferred, and BLS. GI experience and proficiency with EMR/medical software are highly valued.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CMA certification preferred; BLS certification required or attainable within 90 days.
• At least 1 year of patient-facing experience, GI experience preferred.
• Formal completion of a medical assistant program or an AA in medical assisting preferred.

Mansioni

• Room patients, record vital signs, history, medications, and allergies.
• Support patient flow and education under provider direction in GI practice.
• Assist with exams, vaccines, and medication administration per orders.
• Triage calls, manage patient communications, and process refills.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and chart reviews.
