Truman Medical Centers is seeking a Clinical Nurse RN for University Health GI in Kansas City, MO. This full-time role supports pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for gastroenterology procedures, including endoscopy and GI tests, with on-call responsibilities after hours and holidays.

The RN will prepare equipment, record data, and deliver therapy under gastroenterologist direction, with required MO license, BCLS/ACLS, and 2+ years in critical care or related areas.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required.
• Current MO RN license.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to perform independently in critical situations.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care or related experience.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients undergoing GI procedures before, during, and after the procedure.
• Assist in endoscopic and GI procedures including biopsies and specialized tests.
• Set up procedural equipment and document patient data.
• Provide moderate sedation when needed and monitor patient response.
• Be part of the on-call team after hours, weekends and holidays for emergencies.
