Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire and kept current.
• Minimum of one year experience in acute care or outpatient surgery or GI lab.
• Moderate Sedation competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care for surgical and/or GI lab patients using the nursing process.
• Communicate patient status and results with physicians and care team.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and adjust care as needed.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure continuous, quality patient care and efficient unit flow.
