Paradise Valley Hospital, Inc. is seeking a GI Lab RN to provide direct and indirect patient care for surgical and invasive procedures in a fast-paced setting. The role requires rapid assessment, clear communication with physicians and team members, and a focus on patient safety and continuity of care.

The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, BCLS and ACLS certifications, and sedation competency. Experience in GI lab or acute care is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care or outpatient surgery setting or GI lab.
• Completed Moderate Sedation competency within 30 days upon hire required.

Aufgaben

• Direct and indirect patient care for medical-surgical outpatient and/or inpatient cases undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, co-workers and nursing director about patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide continuum of care and ensure efficient patient flow and unit organization.
• Adhere to regulations, standards and hospital policies; participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
