Job summary

Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Registered Nurse GI Lab to join our team. You will apply the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and health team members to care for patients across the perioperative span.

We offer full-time hours (approximately 36 per week) with early shifts and on-call coverage as required. Louisiana RN licensure is required; prior GI lab experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved RN School of nursing.
• Current license as a RN in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation) in caring for patients.
• Interact with patient, significant others, and health team members.
• Direct other team members in an effective manner.
