Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a PRN GI Technician/Scope Washer for the Georgia Endoscopy Center. The role supports endoscopy procedures by preparing equipment, maintaining reprocessing logs, and ensuring a clean, safe environment for patients.

Responsibilities include pre-op coordination, equipment checks, log maintenance, and assisting in other areas as needed. PRN hours offer variety and exposure to a busy outpatient GI setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year experience in an endoscopy environment required.
• Sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and supplies for endoscopy scope reprocessing.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper working order before reprocessing.
• Assist Pre-op with patient flow.
• Maintain logs of scope reprocessing maintenance.
• Order reprocessing supplies and arrange scope repairs.
• Clean endoscope after procedures.
• Dispose of soiled linen and trash; wipe surfaces with antiseptic.
• Maintain cleaning logs for endoscopes and restock supplies.
• Ensure a clean and safe endoscopy environment.
• Provide flexible staffing hours to meet patient care needs.
