Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience in GI endoscopy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care, professionalism, courtesy, and teamwork.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable patient privacy policies.
• Membership in a GI specialty professional organization is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Clean, sterilize, and handle endoscopy instruments and equipment.
• Apply universal precautions and infection-control procedures.
• Promote patient safety and assist with perioperative care.
• Complete documentation in the medical record and coordinate supplies.
