Job summary

Inova Loudoun Surgery Center is seeking a GI/Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopic procedures, focusing on equipment preparation, patient care, and assisting clinicians. Work under nurses and physicians to ensure sterile, safe and ready-to-use equipment.

The role includes 8 or 10 hour shifts with day schedules. Prior GI/endoscopy experience and BLS are preferred. Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, and tuition assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Endoscopy Technician Training completed or equivalent certification preferred.
• BLS certification required upon start; SGNA Advanced Program a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment with high-level disinfection.
• Assist physician during procedures by handing instruments and aiding specimen collection.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with positioning and post-procedure care.
• Maintain infection control standards and safe environment in procedure areas.
• Document procedure details and communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow.
