Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is seeking a GI Technician/Endoscopy professional to assist surgeons during GI procedures. The role also includes cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes, and coordinating room setup and patient flow to support efficient procedures.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, ordering materials, and handling clerical tasks, all performed under physician and nurse supervision to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of technical equipment during endoscopic procedures under surgeon supervision.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and instruments.
