Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a GI/Endoscopy RN with strong IV skills and at least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience. The role requires weekend and on-call coverage within a VA region, using EPIC and EndoWorks EMR systems.

Active VA or compact RN license, BLS (AHA) and ACLS are required. Expect shifts 07:00–17:30, with 4 days per week and on-call responsibilities including weekend calls.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA or Compact required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) and ACLS required.
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience required.
• Strong IV skills required.

Responsibilities

• Triage and care in GI/Endoscopy unit with ~25 procedures/day (75% outpatient, 25% inpatient).
• Shifts 07:00–17:30, 4 days/week with variable days.
• No floating; on-call 1–2 times/week, including weekend calls.
• Use EPIC and EndoWorks EMR systems.
