Job summary

Gateway Endoscopy Center in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our outpatient GI team. You will deliver compassionate nursing care, pre- and post-procedure assessments, and collaborate with gastroenterologists to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Professional School of Nursing
• Current state licensure as a registered nurse
• Current BCLS and ACLS certification
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with physicians, staff, patients and others
• Willingness to work overtime and schedule changes as needed

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the patient’s physical/psychological status during pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Provide nursing care in accordance with the plan of care and physician direction
• Communicate goals of care to the care team
• Apply nursing judgment to implement the care plan and resolve patient issues
• Maintain infection control and safe clinical environment
• Accurately document information in a timely manner
• Demonstrate professional and compassionate patient care and teamwork
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
• Assist with equipment and supply management and center operations
