Qualifications

• Excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient GI Endoscopy setting.
• Provide patient education for endoscopic procedures and review histories, meds, and allergies.
• Perform intake assessments and monitor patients post-sedation to discharge criteria.
• Assist in the endoscopy suite and support the procedural team as delegated.
• Prepare rooms pre-procedure and provide hands-on assistance to the MD.
• Administer sedation when needed and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Possess ECG interpretation skills and be prepared for ACLS within 3–6 months.
• May be required to drive a personal vehicle as part of the role.
