Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Endoscopy Center in Gainesville, GA. The RN will provide individualized and specialized nursing care per physician orders within the endoscopy setting.

The role involves planning, executing, and evaluating care, with patient contact through all phases of the experience, and potential travel to a sister center. Requirements include an active RN license in Georgia, nursing education from an accredited program, and BCLS certification; ACLS is

Qualifications

Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience in GI endoscopy preferred.
Membership in GI specialty or other local, state, or national professional societies encouraged.
Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. ACLS certification is recommended, but optional.
Completion of Airway Management Module is required prior to administering IV conscious sedation. Score of 100% on conscious sedation module post-test.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within the endoscopy center.
Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care according to physicians' orders and nursing standards.
Interact with patients through each phase of their experience and ensure safety and comfort.
May travel to a sister center as required.
