Job summary

Advocate Health’s Harbin Clinic GI Lab Rome is seeking a compassionate Endoscopy Nurse (RN/LPN) to join the outpatient GI team in Rome, GA. The role offers a predictable Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights, weekends, on-call, or holidays.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians during procedures, patient monitoring before/during/after, medication administration, and ensuring proper documentation and education. Georgia nursing license and BLS are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing license (RN or LPN) in Georgia.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Prior experience in endoscopy, PACU, ICU, OR, or procedural nursing preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist GI physicians & CRNAs directly during endoscopic procedures
• Monitor and care for patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Administer medications per protocol
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain and prepare procedural equipment
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions
