Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Charleston, SC is seeking a Clinical Dietitian Specialist to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for inpatient GI services. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

You must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, with 2 years of GI/acute care experience, and be prepared to obtain CNSC within one year.

Qualifications

• Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Two years of clinical experience in GI or inpatient setting.
• Willing to obtain CNSC within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre/post nutritional care for Inpatient Surgical GI and medical nutrition therapy.
• Develop individualized nutrition care plans to promote recovery and health outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, staff on nutrition strategies.
• Apply evidence-based practice aligned with policies and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with food service management to support patient satisfaction.
