Mercyhealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high‑quality patient care under the direction of registered nurses across our Wisconsin and Illinois clinics and hospitals. You will administer medications, monitor patient status, teach self‑care, and participate in QA initiatives while adhering to policy and state regulations.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited LPN program diploma, CPR/BLS certification within 90 days, and be eligible for licensure in the practice state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Wisconsin: completion of RN pathway to obtain practical nursing certificate.
• Illinois: designated Ladder Option for RN program completion.

Responsabilités

• Provides quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures.
• Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
• Administers specified medications as allowed by policy and licensure.
• Responds safely and promptly to patient requests and reports significant observations to the RN.
• Delivers care per patient's plan under RN direction and contributes to care planning.
• Identifies emergencies and initiates nursing measures within scope of practice.
• Instructs patients in self-care and documents it.
• Participates in QA & I.
