Job summary

Medix is seeking a Clinical Research Supervisor – GI to oversee the GI clinical research division, starting with a small team and expanding as the department grows.

The role emphasizes IBD and related GI subspecialties, strict SOP adherence, patient safety, and cross-functional collaboration with study operations and external partners. A Bachelor’s in a related field is required, with RN/CCRPs preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Research, or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in IBD/GI or related subspecialties is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and supervising people.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision: Lead and supervise 3 direct reports, expanding to 4+ next year.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Manage daily team activities, workload distribution, and staffing schedules.
• Build strong team engagement through regular rounding, check-ins, and preceptorship.
• GI protocol execution and QA/compliance oversight.
• Coordinate study start-ups with cross-functional teams and external partners.
