Job summary

GI Alliance's Gastrointestinal Medical Associates (GMA) in Cranston, RI seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver scheduled patient services in hospital and clinic settings under physician supervision. You will take patient histories and physicals, determine tentative diagnoses, and counsel patients and families on health and disease.

You will also engage in credentialing activities and maintain active state licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA with Rhode Island credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
