Job summary

Tampa General Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support the Gastroenterology Service.

The role emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, and management of GI disorders with opportunities for collaborative and independent practice within the defined scope. The APP will perform daily inpatient rounds, conduct consultations and evaluate GI patients, and work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care board certification required for APRNs.
• Experience in internal medicine or GI diseases is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works autonomously and with a team to diagnose and manage health care problems.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and development of standards.
• Adheres to established procedures and professional standards; follows departmental protocols.
