Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing required (Nurse Practitioner).

Responsibilities

• Works autonomously and with interdisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose and manage patient health care concerns.
• Maintains documentation with supervising physician and medical staff as required by state agencies.
• Coordinates inpatient and ambulatory patient care using available resources to provide high-quality care.
• Participates in mandatory meetings, trainings and performance improvement activities.
• Performs duties per established procedures, protocols and evidence-based guidelines.
• Requests, interprets and evaluates diagnostic and laboratory tests and acts accordingly.
• Identifies and escalates signs or problems requiring further assessment or intervention.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to meet patient needs and service demands.
• Contributes to quality and safety initiatives and education of other professionals.
• Demonstrates leadership and initiative in teamwork and projects.
