Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in Florida.
• Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care board certification required for APRNs.
• Experience in internal medicine and GI diseases strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works autonomously and in collaboration to diagnose and manage patient health care problems.
• Participates in department and organizational performance improvement activities and protocol development.
• Performs duties according to established procedures, protocols, and professional standards.
• Maintains protocol with supervising physician as required by state regulatory agencies.
• Requests, interprets and evaluates diagnostic and laboratory tests and communicates results.
• Promotes education of other professionals to develop skills and knowledge.
