The Specialty Alliance is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) to join our gastroenterology practice in Tacoma, WA. The APP will deliver comprehensive patient care, collaborate with physicians, and participate in research and infusion clinic activities.

Responsibilities include autonomous patient care, pre-procedure workups, prescribing under WA authority, and coordinating with the health-team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Weekend or hospital coverage may be required.

Competenze

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant program approved by the CAHEA.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current Washington State Driver’s license to travel to clinics/hospitals as needed.
• Extensive knowledge base of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and management of acute and chronic health problems.
• Clinical experience in gastroenterology preferred or practice relevant area preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide autonomous care to a gastroenterology patient load.
• Perform comprehensive or episodic health histories, physicals, and pre-procedure workups.
• Prescribe and regulate medications per WA prescriptive authority.
• Document patient data to ensure continuity of care and coordinate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs.
• Maintenance of patient records and triage of calls/medical advice.
• Participate in clinical research studies as requested.
• Infusion clinic coverage as needed.
• Possible inpatient hospital coverage as needed.
