Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant to provide specialty care in the GI outpatient clinic. Located in Milwaukee area, the role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat GI conditions, perform procedures, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requires Wisconsin APRN or PA licensure.

Qualifications

• BLS
• DEA eligibility
• WI APRN license or Wisconsin PA license

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty medical care in the GI outpatient clinic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for diagnosis and treatment.
• Order, perform, and interpret GI screening/diagnostic procedures; document results.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff to promote continuity of care.
• Perform procedures as needed and participate in quality outcomes evaluation.
• Attend required training and stay current with APP practices.
