Job summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center in Frisco seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for Digestive Disease to join a multidisciplinary team. The role supports patients with digestive disorders, performs colonoscopies/endoscopies, and collaborates with physicians to deliver high-quality care in alignment with Texas Board of Nursing and related authorities.
The position requires a Master's degree and Texas licensure to practice with prescriptive authority; ARC-PA PA program graduate or NP/PA credentials
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or advanced practice education as required; or ARC-PA accredited PA program completion.
- APRN/PA licensure in Texas with prescriptive authority preferred.
- 2–3 years gastroenterology/hepatology APC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnoses and treats patients; develops and manages treatment plans.
- Performs advanced procedures as appropriate.
- Conducts comprehensive physical examinations and documents findings.
- Orders and interprets labs and imaging; utilizes results to plan care.
- Collaborates with physicians and multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality care.
- Participates in research projects and applies evidence-based practices.
