Job summary

Qualifications
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant with Texas authority.
- Master's or higher degree and completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Education Program.
- Certification by NCCPA and licensure as PA-C or APN upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Diagnoses and treats complex gastroenterology patients and develops treatment plans.
- Performs and assists in advanced GI procedures as appropriate.
- Conducts comprehensive exams and documents findings per patient population.
- Orders/interprets labs and imaging and integrates results into care plans.
- Educates patients and families, coordinating with the care team.
- Participates in quality improvement and research initiatives as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
