Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC in New York is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end supply chain operations for a ghost kitchen concept. You will drive demand and materials planning, inventory management, procurement coordination, warehousing, and outbound distribution to kitchen locations, ensuring right ingredients and products at the right time.

You will build Excel trackers, monitor KPIs, and support WMS/ERP/MRP implementations while upholding GMP, SQF, FSQA, and lot traceability across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in SCM/Operations
• 5+ years of supply chain experience in food manufacturing, CPG, food service, or a comparable environment
• 3+ years of demand and materials planning experience in a food production environment
• Experience managing raw ingredients, finished products, and perishable or shelf-life-sensitive inventory
• Advanced Excel skills and handling large data sets
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Experience managing inventory against budget or working-capital targets
• Experience working with suppliers on shortages, lead times, and product availability
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Own demand & materials planning across raw ingredients, packaging, purchased FG, and manufactured SKUs
• Balance inventory investment against working-capital targets while ensuring availability and minimizing waste
• Collaborate with procurement to execute procurement strategy and manage supplier lead times
• Oversee warehousing and outbound distribution; support WMS rollout and flow improvement
• Build Excel planning trackers from large data extracts; own supply chain KPIs and reporting
• Support GMP, SQF, FSQA, lot traceability, and proper controls for perishable inventory
