First Roles is seeking a data-driven professional to support GHG accounting, emissions analytics, and sustainability reporting. You will handle data management, methodology documentation, and third-party assurance coordination with a focus on Scope 3; proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau is preferred.

The role blends technical rigor with project management, enabling clear insights for decision-makers while ensuring compliance with GHGP and related frameworks.

Qualifications

• Delivered a GHG inventory including Scope 3 accounting and third-party assurance.
• Working knowledge of Greenhouse Gas Protocol methodologies.
• Strong spreadsheet skills with data quality control on large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze company activity data and perform GHG emissions calculations across Scopes 1, 2 and 3.
• Perform Scope 1, 2 and 3 footprinting with emphasis on Scope 3.
• Support third-party assurance and CDP disclosure requests with data/docs.
• Document and refine process narratives, calculation methods, and inventory practices.
• Support QA/QC and reporting in Net Zero Cloud.
• Research sustainability standards and emissions modeling methodologies.
• Coordinate data collection and stakeholders for timely sustainability reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in emissions reporting.
• Deliver data insights to business partners using Tableau visualizations.
• Perform ad hoc sustainability data analysis as needed.
