Job summary

The Malvern School is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Get Set classroom at the Medford location. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

The teacher will plan and implement a high-quality early childhood program in alignment with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, healthy classroom, and communicating with parents regularly, using technology as needed to meet expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• Bachelor’s degree with 30 credit hours in relevant fields plus 1 year of experience with children.
• Associate’s degree in relevant field plus 2 years of experience with children.
• Associate’s degree with 30 credit hours in relevant fields plus 3 years of experience with children.

• Maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.

To qualify for a lead teaching position with The Malvern School you must meet one of the follow criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
