Job summary

The Malvern School in Medford, OR seeks a dedicated lead teacher to design and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in line with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy. You will maintain a safe, healthy classroom, communicate with parents using meetings and digital updates, and collaborate with staff to uphold high standards in learning and care.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field (or an associate’s with experience)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in ECE or related field, or equivalent combination.
• Experience with young children and family communication is preferred.
• Commitment to a child-centered, high-quality program.

Job Summary:

• Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

To qualify for a lead teaching position with The Malvern School you must meet one of the follow criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
