Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Topeka, KS to operate automated warehouse equipment and use technology to pick and load beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos, keeping orders accurate and shipments on schedule.

You will monitor label printers, operate the ACE machine, and handle carton recycling, cart storage, and trailer sanitation while ensuring safe cart handling and proper product placement.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant.
• You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Monitor label/print machines to ensure no jams.
• Operate auto case erector (ACE).
• Empty Carton Recycle, organizing cartons and putting usable cartons back into the GES system.
• Ensure proper cart handling and storage throughout the warehouse and within trailers.
• Pick appropriate product according to order using required technology; Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
• Distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory.
• Complete general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required (sweep floor, clean trailer, take out trash).
