Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Warehouse Associate for its Topeka, KS site. The role involves operating automated warehouse equipment, picking and loading products like Lay's, Doritos and Cheetos, and ensuring on-time shipments for communities.

Expect on-the-job and hands-on training in a fast-paced environment. Shifts occur Friday and Sunday from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am; workers must be able to stand, lift, and work in extreme conditions.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant.
• You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Monitor label/print machines to ensure no jams.
• Operate auto case erector (ACE).
• Empty Carton Recycle, which requires organizing cartons and putting usable cartons back into the GES system.
• Ensure proper cart handling and storage throughout the warehouse and within trailers.
• Pick appropriate product according to order using required technology.
• Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
• Distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory.
• Complete general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required.
