Job summary

Executive Mental Health (EMH) is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to work full-time in skilled nursing facilities around Los Angeles. The role focuses on geropsychology with an emphasis on evidence-based practice, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and meaningful patient engagement.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat geriatric and medically complex residents, manage a caseload, and ensure Medicare-compliant documentation while working onsite to improve quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology and California license.
• Medicare-eligible (we assist with credentialing and paneling).
• Value evidence-based practice and autonomous work with support.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals in skilled nursing facilities.
• Provide psychological services to geriatric, disabled, and medically complex populations.
• Manage an active caseload with support from your clinical manager and administrative team.
• Collaborate closely with facility staff, offering consultation, guidance, and in-services.
• Complete documentation aligned with medical necessity and Medicare standards.
• Provide care by meeting residents where they reside, in skilled nursing facilities.
