Job summary

Joybuy, JD.com’s European platform, is seeking a Project Owner for its AI translation initiative. You will lead the 0-to-1 setup of Joybuy's German translation system, coordinating engineers and business teams across China and Europe to deliver high-quality results.

You will train, test, and refine German translation models, manage corpora quality, and establish MT/MTPE workflows. Remote, international role with a focus on accuracy, privacy, and cultural nuances.

Qualifications

• Native German speaker with strong literature and culture knowledge.
• English as a working language.
• 3+ years of project management experience in translation projects.
• Experience building/evaluating AI translation models and corpora cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Lead 0-to-1 setup and strategic planning of Joybuy's AI translation system.
• Drive implementation and iteration of translation models in business operations.
• Train, test, and fine-tune German translation models; build high-quality German corpora.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across China and Europe to ensure on-time delivery.
• Establish MT quality standards and MTPE workflows.
