Job summary

Social Factor is actively seeking US-based or UK-based project-based German-language Community Moderators to build and nurture vibrant digital communities for global brands. The role offers temporary or part-time opportunities with flexible schedules, including potential 24/7 coverage, as work becomes available.

Candidates should be native-level German speakers, familiar with brand voice, and capable of managing live moderation across major social platforms.

Qualifications

• Native-level understanding of German language.
• Deep understanding of language pop culture, nomenclature, references and slang.
• Able to understand client's brand voice & engage with users.
• Previous social media moderation experience required; live stream moderation is a plus.
• Sprinklr certification, Khoros, and/or Sprout Social experience is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities; follow guidelines and workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; mirror voice/tone of brands.
• Excellent spelling and grammar; language tests may be given.
• Strong willingness to learn and think critically; proactive.
• High energy with ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Interact with users in real-time; engage in discussion and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of major social platforms: YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn.
• PC with Windows 10 and macOS 12.x; internet speed minimum 150 Mbps
